The enemy wants you to be offended. Then, he wants you to hold onto the offenses, so that you take on the hurt and wear it like a cloak, which eventually leads to bitterness and fearsome anger!
The “what if’s” can haunt us and cause us to spiral down to a very unhealthy and bitter place if we stay there.
Regret is a stealer of time and joy. It leads to more missed opportunities, hurt, anger and eventually bitterness and loneliness. There are so many missed opportunities for all of us... it doesn’t mean your present is not valuable.
